Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Carude's Vasco Brito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Delfim Resende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carude the free kick. After a rather tough play, Barros FC's Delfim Resende got a free kick in the 4th minute. Armando Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If António Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Barros FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Leão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Brito in the 9th minute of play forced Barros FC's goalkeeper Carlos Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Matias having to interfere. In the 18th minute António Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, SC Carude's goal looked a bit too open when António Amaral came free, but Fábio Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Carlos Alves made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Vasco Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carude's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Brito in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to SC Carude getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vasco Fernandes hit a great ball. If António Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, SC Carude's Armando Leão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Vasco Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alves having to interfere. Gabriel Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell António Amaral to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Armando Leão made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Alves. Barros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 61 played minutes SC Carude got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Henriques. In the 63rd minute Vasco Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fábio Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Brito in the 72nd minute of the match. António Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Borges during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fábio Matias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Jesus in the 95th minute. SC Carude's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
