Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Branco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Manuel Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Carlos Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Manuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barros FC's Cristóvão Simões got a free kick in the 11th minute. Manuel Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Barros FC's António Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amílcar Assunção. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. 27 minutes into the match, Barros FC's Luís Jesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amílcar Assunção narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lúcio Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Barros FC's António Amaral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amílcar Assunção. Amílcar Assunção yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 37th minute, Manuel Branco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murgido FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Carlos Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Jorge Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murgido FC the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Barros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Fernandes, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
