André Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Ramos in the 38th minute of the match. Perdigao's André Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Fonseca in the 42nd minute of play. André Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Simões having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 98 minutes, Afonso Fonseca made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Perdigao's André Simões tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
