Alganhafres FC's Pedro Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Amaro got free with Filipe Leão in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Alganhafres FC's Gabriel Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heitor Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Alexandre Gomes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Alganhafres FC got a corner. SC Saramaga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rui Trindade ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rui Trindade succeeded in the game's 94th minute to get real power on a long shot . SC Saramaga's Heitor Carvalho hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 4-1! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alganhafres FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Saramaga had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
