Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alganhafres FC's Gabriel Miranda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Martianas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Manuel Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Martianas's Joel Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filipe Leão. Filipe Leão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Martianas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Antunes to maneuver through the defense. When António Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martianas's protests and gave António Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Martianas! In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Alganhafres FC. Rui Trindade stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Pinho. 1-1. Raul Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Filipe Leão made a huge save. A collision led to Alganhafres FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jorge Ramos hit a great ball. Raul Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Filipe Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Pedro Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Manuel Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alganhafres FC. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alganhafres FC's goalkeeper Filipe Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Soares during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabriel Soares hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Pedro Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Martianas's Manuel Pinho got control of the ball when Pedro Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Pinho having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Gabriel Miranda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Pinho, 1-2. Filipe Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Alganhafres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Machado came free, but Filipe Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alganhafres FC played a much better game than Martianas and deserved their victory. The Martianas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
