Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexandre Valente got the match started through his kick off. If Afonso Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Domingos Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Idanha's protests and gave Domingos Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes SC Atalhada got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Luz. Carlos Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Atalhada's goalkeeper Jorge Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandre Luz's late challenge caught a Idanha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Luz helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes SC Atalhada got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Luz. Jorge Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Cardoso in the 93rd minute of play. Filipe Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Pinheiro having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
