The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Sanfins FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Reveladas:s goal. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Reveladas. Amílcar Mendes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Inácio Miranda. 0-1. After 27 minutes, João Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanfins FC and the Reveladas players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Gonçalves hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Luís Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jorge Domingues made a huge save. Paulo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Domingues having to interfere. With his leg Jorge Domingues managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Sanfins FC's Luís Morais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manuel Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Domingues having to interfere. Inácio Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Amaral in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Morais was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Reveladas defense, Luís Morais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Domingues. The Reveladas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Domingues should have stopped the shot. Américo Oliveira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Abel Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Miranda having to interfere. When Rafael Assunção fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanfins FC's protests and gave Rafael Assunção a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Sanfins FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Assunção to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Reveladas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sanfins FC.
