Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hélder Leite started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Maia was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Cunha in the 5th minute of play forced Aveleda FC's goalkeeper Augusto Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Vieiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Matos to maneuver through the defense. When Henrique Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aveleda FC's protests and gave Henrique Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Augusto Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aveleda FC's zone, Eduardo Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Maia came out of the goal and Eduardo Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Pinheiro in the 27th minute of play forced Aveleda FC's goalkeeper Augusto Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Maia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Cunha went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Miranda in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Mota saved Vieiro FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Leite in the 32nd minute of play forced Vieiro FC's goalkeeper Rogério Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Aveleda FC's Rui Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Rogério Mota despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Eduardo Cunha notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Aveleda FC's Augusto Maia. Augusto Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Miranda got free with Rogério Mota in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogério Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Pinheiro made a kick off. Duarte Mendes struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Augusto Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vieiro FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Pinheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augusto Maia. That made the score 0-3 in the 57 minute of play. A collision led to Aveleda FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sérgio Matos hit a great ball. Vieiro FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Aveleda FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Melo took the corner. The corner led Vieiro FC's José Melo to fire away a dangerous shot which Augusto Maia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Paulo Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Aveleda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Miranda couldn't finish the play. When Mariano Matos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Eduardo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Maia having to interfere. If Eduardo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rogério Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Miranda in the 95th minute of play.
