Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusébio Freitas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emanuel Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. When Cristóvão Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Alvaro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Moreira couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Miguel Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Henriques having to interfere. André Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cernadelo's zone, Cristóvão Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Porto came out of the goal and Cristóvão Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Alvaro booed when Cernadelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Teixeira in the 29th minute of play. Alexandre Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Miguel Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Cernadelo's Eusébio Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Cernadelo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexandre Teixeira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro's Cristóvão Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cernadelo's Oliveira Coelho got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Porto. Cernadelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristóvão Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Sérgio Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sérgio Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Alvaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
