Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Anjos got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Correia came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Pires could save by the left post. In the 10th minute, Sabrosa's Carlos Correia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Pires. Pedro Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Correia got free with Pedro Pires in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute Sabrosa were awarded a corner. Tiago Ferreira went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sabrosa's corner Tiago Ferreira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Pires quite easily take care of the ball. Ricardo Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ferreira in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Sabrosa got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Silva. Ricardo Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 25 minutes, João Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cerejeiras and the Sabrosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Baptista hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the last second Pedro Pires throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tiago Moutinho in the 26thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Carlos Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Correia got free with Pedro Pires in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Sabrosa fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Sabrosa's Tiago Moutinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sabrosa's Ricardo Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ferreira in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes SC Cerejeiras got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Branco. Carlos Correia struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabrosa. Sabrosa's Alexandre Silva suffered a concussion in the 47th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. SC Cerejeiras's João Baptista got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered João Baptista off the ground. A collision led to SC Cerejeiras getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. João Baptista hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Vicente Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vicente Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SC Cerejeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Ferreira couldn't finish the play. If Manuel Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Correia took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Pires. Pedro Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Tiago Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cerejeiras's Pedro Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Correia in the 89th minute of play. If Vicente Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sabrosa had won after a very even match.
