The Alvaro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Henriques should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sabrosa's zone, Alexandre Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Barros came out of the goal and Alexandre Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Pedro Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Henriques having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Teixeira in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Barros saved Sabrosa from getting behind.
