Gavinhos FC's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Armindo Freitas was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Joaquim Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Eusébio Gueifão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Alexandre Pinheiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Joaquim Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seladinhas FC's Joaquim Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Eusébio Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alexandre Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play, Seladinhas FC's Joaquim Pinho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusébio Viegas's late challenge caught a Gavinhos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Viegas helped the player get up and apologised. Eusébio Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Armindo Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Pinho in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eusébio Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Pinheiro having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Seladinhas FC's Eusébio Gueifão made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Seladinhas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gavinhos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
