After a rather tough play, Seladinhas FC's Américo Neves got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Eusébio Viegas's late challenge caught a Fafiao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Viegas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fafiao FC booed when Seladinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Seladinhas FC's zone, Alexandre Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Miranda came out of the goal and Alexandre Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Pedro Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Amaro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Vítor Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fafiao FC. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Seladinhas FC's goalkeeper Vítor Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandre Amaro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vítor Miranda came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandre Amaro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Eusébio Viegas got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 38th match minute, Seladinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Viegas to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Lisboa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mário Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Vítor Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fafiao FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Duarte Faria hit a great ball. Eusébio Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Duarte Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seladinhas FC. Vítor Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Amaro in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Fafiao FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Óscar Lisboa hit a great ball. Mário Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vítor Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Domingues in the 76th minute of play forced Seladinhas FC's goalkeeper Vítor Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Joaquim Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Duarte Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mário Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fafiao FC had played much better football throughout.
