Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when André Cunha took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 8 minutes, Cristiano Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Cancela and the Afurada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Júlio Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogério Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonçalo Queirós came out and tried to block the shot, but Rogério Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. When Lucas Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Cancela's protests and gave Lucas Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Cancela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lucas Pinheiro hit a great ball. Gonçalo Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Pinheiro in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Afurada FC's Rogério Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonçalo Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Paiva having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Afurada FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Cunha came free, but Manuel Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Ramos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Francisco Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Francisco Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Cancela! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Pinheiro made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Rogério Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Manuel Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Ferreira hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, SC Cancela's André Cunha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Paiva. Manuel Paiva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 69th minute Lucas Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Francisco Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 71 minutes, André Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cancela's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Cunha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. SC Cancela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. André Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Afurada FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Cunha came free, but Manuel Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Inácio Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo Queirós. SC Cancela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Rogério Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Ramos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Afurada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Ferreira to maneuver through the defense.
