Xavier Silva was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Daniel Ribeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Ribeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Xavier Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torrego FC's goalkeeper Filipe Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mariano Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Romeiros booed when Torrego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Romeiros's Viriato Maia got a free kick in the 24th minute. Paulo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Vale hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Valente to make the kick off. A collision led to Torrego FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Delfim Dias hit a great ball. Inácio Moniz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Mariano Cabral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filipe Leal. The goal made the score 1-1. Xavier Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Ribeiro in the 58th minute of play. Mariano Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Leal having to interfere. Mariano Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Filipe Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torrego FC's Filipe Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Cabral in the 70th minute of play. Xavier Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Valente in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute Mariano Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SC Romeiros booed when Torrego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Torrego FC's zone, Rodrigo Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Leal came out of the goal and Rodrigo Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Romeiros's Rodrigo Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torrego FC's Filipe Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Torrego FC from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
