SC Galiana's Tiago Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save SC Galiana from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, SC Romeiros's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Nunes came free, but Xavier Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Romeiros's Daniel Alves got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of SC Galiana booed when SC Romeiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, SC Galiana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusébio Vale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. SC Romeiros's Mariano Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Afonso Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, SC Galiana's Tiago Aguiar got control of the ball when Rodrigo Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The SC Romeiros supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Romeiros would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
