After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ricardo Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piares FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Piares FC's goalkeeper Pedro Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Matias. 39 minutes into the match, Piares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Campos came free, but Pedro Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. António Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fernando Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 77thth minute of the game Tomás Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Moachos's Fernando Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Campos ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, SC Moachos's goal looked a bit too open when João Marques came free, but Fernando Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Moachos's Fernando Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save SC Moachos from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, SC Moachos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomás Carneiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
