Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adolfo Reis made the kick off and thus started the match. Miguel Viegas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Bento Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Brás having to interfere. If Afonso Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Luso's zone, Bento Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Brás came out of the goal and Bento Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Machado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Resende during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luso's António Jesus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arneirinhos FC. In the 23rd minute, Adolfo Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. André Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Tavares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Luso's Adolfo Reis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Reis in the 34th minute of play forced Arneirinhos FC's goalkeeper André Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Afonso Freitas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Afonso Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lúcio Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Moreira was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cláudio Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Luso's António Jesus to fire away a dangerous shot which André Tavares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fernando Castro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Tavares. Arneirinhos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. André Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Reis in the 60th minute of play. If Duarte Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When David Resende was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. David Resende hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Luso's António Jesus tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. André Tavares made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Duarte Machado sent off a good shot on target. Duarte Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Afonso Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Brás was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 96th minute Afonso Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
