Ricardo Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Nogueira in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Domingos Reis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Domingos Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Pires made a huge save. Domingos Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pires having to interfere. Pedro Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Delfim Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pedrome's Ricardo Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Fermelha defense, Fernando Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Pires. The Fermelha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Pires should have stopped the shot. When Delfim Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Fermelha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Domingues couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Domingos Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 74th minute, Fernando Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 91stth minute of the game Domingos Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fermelha's Pedro Pires was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fermelha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
