Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Pires took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Óscar Pedroso fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canedinho's protests and gave Óscar Pedroso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Óscar Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Resende having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Canedinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Mariano Domingues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio Resende showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eusébio Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Mendalvo FC's Pedro Pires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusébio Resende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mendalvo FC's Pedro Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Canedinho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mendalvo FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mariano Domingues, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canedinho's Eusébio Resende. 0-1. Cristiano Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lourenço Torres made a huge save. Eusébio Resende came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Mendalvo FC's Pedro Pires. But to his dismay, Pedro Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cristiano Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Lourenço Torres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Fernandes in the 41st minute of play forced Mendalvo FC's goalkeeper Lourenço Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lourenço Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Mendalvo FC's Carlos Pacheco got a free kick in the 44th minute. Carlos Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Resende having to interfere.

The wind increased when José Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. Lourenço Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Fernandes in the 53rd minute of play. Lourenço Torres didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Canedinho's Cristiano Santos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. João Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Eusébio Resende when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Jaime Brás fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canedinho's protests and gave Jaime Brás a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Canedinho's Jaime Brás got a free kick in the 60th minute. Eusébio Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Pires in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Canedinho's goalkeeper Eusébio Resende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Silva. Lourenço Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Fernandes went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. José Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Torres having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Mendalvo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Santos came free, but Lourenço Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristiano Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Resende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Pires's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. João Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Resende having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Pedro Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Canedinho's José Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lourenço Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, José Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lourenço Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. José Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
