Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Simões started the match with the kick off. When Rogério Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Crujo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Amaro couldn't finish the play. When David Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crujo FC's protests and gave David Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. David Fernandes hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Alfredo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Simões in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Diogo Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eduardo Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rogério Amaro scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Neves in the 22nd minute. In the 34th minute Miguel Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Crujo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diogo Neves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rogério Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alfredo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Gaspar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Simões in the 45th minute of play forced Gradissimo's goalkeeper Alfredo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Sebastião Lima made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as António Simões kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Almeida. That made the score 2-2 in the 53 minute of play. Joaquim Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Gradissimo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rogério Amaro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alfredo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Sebastião Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Crujo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Lima came free, but Eduardo Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gradissimo's Alfredo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Simões in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Gradissimo booed when Crujo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Rogério Amaro lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Alfredo Almeida. In the 78th minute, António Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Simões in the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Sebastião Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gradissimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Sebastião Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Diogo Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gradissimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96thth minute of the game Diogo Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crujo FC's Eduardo Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Crujo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
