In the 68th minute, Alcarraques FC's Rodrigo Antunes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rodrigo Antunes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Alcarraques FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodrigo Antunes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alcarraques FC! If Cláudio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The attack was good, but when Viriato Leiria in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Eduardo Vaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Guarda having to make a save. Alexandre Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Leiria in the 92nd minute of play.
