Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bento Castro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Marques. Bolhas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Bolhas's Alexandre Sousa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Rodrigues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Bolhas booed when SC Coura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SC Coura's Francisco Rodrigues got control of the ball when Alexandre Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carlos Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alexandre Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Bolhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Sousa couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, SC Coura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Martins to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Gaspar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Rodrigues. SC Coura's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jorge Martins's late challenge caught a Bolhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Martins helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Martins hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. SC Coura's Francisco Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Sousa in the 73rd minute of play. Bolhas's Alexandre Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bolhas had won after a very even match.
