Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonçalo Gomes started the match with the kick off. Gonçalo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Afonso Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vasco Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Vicente Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ventozelos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasco Dias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Amadeu Jesus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 25th minute, Daniel Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Gomes in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Sendim's Afonso Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Gomes in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ventozelos FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Jesus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Dias. If Vasco Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ventozelos FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ventozelos FC's Vicente Pires got a free kick in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Américo Gomes was the one to do the kick off. Amadeu Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vasco Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vasco Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Américo Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Sendim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Vasco Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Jesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sandro Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Gonçalo Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ventozelos FC's Manuel Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ventozelos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Sendim.
