Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gonçalo Gomes got the match started through his kick off. Nuno Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Gonçalo Gomes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 9th minute, Sebastião Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Concieiro's Joaquim Aleixo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 minutes, Pedro Coimbra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concieiro and the Ventozelos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Aguiar's late challenge caught a Ventozelos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Concieiro! When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Ventozelos FC's Fábio Henriques got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Álvaro Antunes. After 22 played minutes Ventozelos FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Paredes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Aleixo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Jesus saved Ventozelos FC from getting behind. Joaquim Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Jesus having to interfere. Daniel Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Daniel Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Concieiro's Fernando Freitas tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Concieiro booed when Ventozelos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Aleixo in the 34th minute of play. When Pedro Coimbra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. In the 42nd match minute, Concieiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Borges's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ventozelos FC's Manuel Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Gonçalo Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55th play minutes Gonçalo Gomes shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Álvaro Antunes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 64th minute Gonçalo Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Ventozelos FC's Gonçalo Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastião Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Amadeu Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Álvaro Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mário Borges came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Concieiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Borges couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Concieiro defense, Manuel Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Antunes. The Concieiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Antunes should have stopped the shot. When Mário Borges came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Concieiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Borges couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Manuel Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gonçalo Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Concieiro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ventozelos FC.
