Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SC Gaiteiras's Júlio Simões in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Delfim Melo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pousadinhas FC through an amazing save. Delfim Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, Abel Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Delfim Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Gaiteiras getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Júlio Gueifão hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gaiteiras's zone, Francisco Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Maia came out of the goal and Francisco Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Fontes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Duarte Lima made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Maia. SC Gaiteiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25th minute Júlio Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gaspar Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Maia having to interfere. Albertino Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Pousadinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Amaro to maneuver through the defense. SC Gaiteiras's Tomás Torres was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Delfim Melo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Júlio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Melo having to interfere. Albertino Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, SC Gaiteiras's Júlio Simões sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute, Duarte Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Gaiteiras's Fernando Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Abel Santos took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Gaspar Maia to make any attempt to save it. Fernando Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Leal hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Torres in the 65th minute of play forced Pousadinhas FC's goalkeeper Delfim Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Júlio Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Gaiteiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Duarte Lima fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pousadinhas FC's protests and gave Duarte Lima a yellow card for diving instead. 78 minutes into the match, Pousadinhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Ferreira came free, but Delfim Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pousadinhas FC's goalkeeper Delfim Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Gaiteiras booed when Pousadinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Júlio Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fernando Ferreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Ferreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Júlio Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Melo having to interfere. Júlio Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pousadinhas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
