Thanks to some nice moves Vítor Rocha could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Duarte Pires however easily saved by the left post. Duarte Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Cruz in the 13th minute of the match. Nuno Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeu Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Afonso Henriques, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Amadeu Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sobreira FC's protests and gave Amadeu Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sobreira FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Amadeu Gonçalves hit a great ball. When Rafael Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sobreira FC's protests and gave Rafael Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Pires was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquim Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Duarte Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

Sobreira FC's Álvaro Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Sobreira FC from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Joaquim Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Pires was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Afonso Ferro got in the 64th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Álvaro Brito handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sobreira FC booed when Burgonha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Pires having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Joaquim Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Pires was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 86th minute, Joaquim Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonso Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Brito having to interfere. Afonso Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Joaquim Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Pires. Burgonha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sobreira FC had won after a very even match.
