When Filipe Miranda, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The David Brito was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vicente Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but David Brito made a huge save. David Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Figueiredo in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Jaime Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Filipe Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Brito was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Figueiredo got free with David Brito in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Vicente Figueiredo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Filipe Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Mendes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, SC Tamengos's goalkeeper David Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Figueiredo. Filipe Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Brito having to interfere. Vicente Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Bessa hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After 49 played minutes, SC Tamengos's Diamantino Nunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vítor Cabral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Tamengos reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Vicente Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. David Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Vicente Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pregal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. David Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Nuno Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pregal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Tamengos the free kick. In the 77th minute, Nuno Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Nunes, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to SC Tamengos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Diamantino Nunes hit a great ball. Vítor Cabral made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Rafael Cabral sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SC Tamengos booed when Pregal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pregal's goalkeeper Vítor Cabral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pregal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
