Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Andrade kicked off to start the match. Azelhal's Miguel Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Andrade in the 7th minute of play. When Azelhal's Manuel Paiva in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olheiros FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Bento Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Azelhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Ferro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Olheiros FC's zone, Jorge Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Barbosa came out of the goal and Jorge Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Jorge Moreira put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of João Barbosa. Fábio Queirós hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Miguel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Bento Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bento Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Miguel Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Olheiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Amaro to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Barbosa came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Azelhal's Jorge Moreira. But to his dismay, Jorge Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Azelhal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Abel Dias hit a great ball. Manuel Paiva's late challenge caught a Olheiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Azelhal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
