When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, António Borges took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jorge Vieira to make any attempt to save it. After 10 played minutes Vendada got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Brás. André Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Antunes in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Farrobo FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pedro Nunes hit a great ball. Humberto Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. André Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vieira having to interfere. Humberto Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Farrobo FC's zone, Humberto Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Vieira came out of the goal and Humberto Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Vendada's António Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Pedro Nunes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Humberto Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Antunes got free with André Valente in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Borges in the 56th minute of play. Tiago Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vendada's António Borges got a free kick in the 60th minute. Humberto Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vieira having to interfere. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Farrobo FC. André Viegas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving André Valente. 1-1. Jorge Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Pedro Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
