Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Mendes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Odiaxere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Mendes came free, but Miguel Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Odiaxere FC's goalkeeper Miguel Viegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílcar Santarém. Miguel Viegas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amílcar Santarém showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. After 9 minutes, Joel Mendes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Odiaxere FC's Miguel Viegas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If José Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Amílcar Santarém got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 18th minute, Odiaxere FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amílcar Santarém fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Odiaxere FC's goalkeeper Miguel Viegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílcar Santarém. Miguel Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Lopes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Araújo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliveira Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliveira Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Araújo in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fontoura FC's zone, José Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveira Gomes came out of the goal and José Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Viegas having to interfere. Odiaxere FC's Ricardo Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Miguel Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Mendes in the 56th minute of play. Joel Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílcar Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Miguel Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Gomes having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Amílcar Santarém left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fontoura FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to Fontoura FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sérgio Lopes hit a great ball. José Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Gomes having to interfere. Odiaxere FC's Óscar Lima suffered a concussion after 82 minutes and had to leave the field. The supporters of Odiaxere FC booed when Fontoura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fontoura FC's zone, José Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveira Gomes came out of the goal and José Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fontoura FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when José Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Oliveira Gomes, making the score, 3-1. In the 93rd minute of the game, João Cruz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 93 minutes, Ricardo Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odiaxere FC and the Fontoura FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Odiaxere FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Ferreira. André Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Odiaxere FC! For all the effort they put into the match, the Odiaxere FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fontoura FC.
