Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucas Fernandes took the kick off in the first half of the match. José Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Cruz having to interfere. Tiago Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Garcia in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, SC Casainho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xavier Matias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alberto Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lucas Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Gomes's late challenge caught a SC Casainho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. Xavier Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viriato Viana came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Casainho's Lucas Fernandes. But to his dismay, Lucas Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Alberto Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SC Casainho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Garcia couldn't finish the play. SC Gilmonde's Viriato Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Fernandes in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Heitor Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Garcia scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viriato Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Heitor Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier Matias in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiago Cruz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Garcia to make the kick off. Viriato Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Fernandes in the 56th minute of play. Gustavo Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Francisco Barros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiago Cruz. SC Casainho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xavier Matias took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Cruz. Tiago Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tiago Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Lucas Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SC Casainho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Fernandes couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Armando Anjos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Gilmonde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Casainho the free kick. Armando Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Lucas Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Viriato Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, José Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Casainho's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
