Vicente Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Reis having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Lúcio Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Pereira's late challenge caught a Armada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heitor Pereira helped the player get up and apologised. Heitor Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Fábio Barros came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Armada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Barros couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lúcio Ribeiro to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Tourega's André Macedo got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 55th match minute, SC Tourega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Vieira to maneuver through the defense. If Cristiano Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Gueifão went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 72nd match minute, SC Tourega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Tourega getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Manuel Vieira hit a great ball. Vicente Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Gueifão in the 97th minute of the match. SC Tourega's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
