Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexandre Vieira kicked off to start the match. Lourenço Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of Varzielas booed when Sabroso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabroso FC's Lourenço Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Almeida in the 12th minute of play. When Carlos Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabroso FC's protests and gave Carlos Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sabroso FC's Carlos Barbosa got a free kick in the 15th minute. Alexandre Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Nunes having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Vicente Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varzielas and the Sabroso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sabroso FC booed when Varzielas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Alexandre Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabroso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Varzielas's Emanuel Aleixo got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Setúbal got free with Lourenço Leal in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Lourenço Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Almeida in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 minutes of play Varzielas's Vicente Sá was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Varzielas getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vicente Sá hit a great ball. Emílio Magalhães hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Emanuel Aleixo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varzielas's protests and gave Emanuel Aleixo a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Varzielas got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Aleixo. Lucas Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Nunes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Setúbal in the 67th minute of play forced Sabroso FC's goalkeeper Lourenço Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Vieira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Sabroso FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodrigo Nunes made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lucas Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Vieira in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Varzielas getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Emanuel Aleixo hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Nunes was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. David Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Leal having to interfere. Alexandre Vieira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Nunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexandre Vieira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 86th minute. 92 minutes in the game, Lucas Magalhães dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Sabroso FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
