Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Calhetas FC's Pedro Fonseca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eusébio Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Cristiano Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Viana in the 9th minute of play. Gustavo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cristiano Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Calhetas FC's Pedro Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Calhetas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Amadeu Viana scored to the left of an out of position Cristiano Abreu, making the score, 1-1. If Amadeu Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Frazao's Gustavo Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Calhetas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Viana came free, but Cristiano Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Fonseca in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Luís Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cândido Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Calhetas FC's Humberto Carneiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calhetas FC reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeu Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Frazao's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Fonseca came free, but Jacinto Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Frazao's José Amorim tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pedro Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Silva having to interfere. Ricardo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Frazao got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Fernandes. Ricardo Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Silva having to interfere. Ricardo Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Viana in the 72nd minute of play forced Calhetas FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Calhetas FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lúcio Borges hit a great ball. Cristiano Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Delgado in the 77th minute of play. Ricardo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gustavo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
