After a defensive mix-up in Frazao's zone, André Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Silva came out of the goal and André Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes, Gustavo Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frazao and the Sudro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Frazao got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Delgado. Amadeu Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Costa having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Sudro's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Delgado came free, but Heitor Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Valente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Heitor Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Viana in the 34th minute of the match. If Amadeu Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Heitor Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Gustavo Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Mendes in the 45th minute of play forced Frazao's goalkeeper Jacinto Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Mendes to make the kick off. If Gustavo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Sudro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Porto to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute, Xavier Porto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sudro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. André Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Silva having to interfere. Jacinto Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Valente in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Sebastião Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heitor Costa. Sudro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 81 minutes into the match, Frazao's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Mendes came free, but Jacinto Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Amadeu Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute André Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Reis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Paulo Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Silva having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
