The supporters of SC Regatinha booed when SC Louzado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Louzado's goalkeeper Armindo Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Louzado's Eduardo Neto got a free kick in the 25th minute. Oliveira Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Carvalho having to interfere. Oliveira Rocha struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Armindo Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Regatinha. Mariano Resende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Armindo Carvalho made a huge save. Luís Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Anjos in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to SC Regatinha getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rui Nascimento hit a great ball. Armindo Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Resende in the 42nd minute. Eusébio Cabral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Luís Fontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oliveira Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eusébio Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliveira Rocha in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Rui Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Luís Fontes made a huge save. In the 95th minute Oliveira Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
