Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Júlio Gonçalves took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match SC Faioes got a corner. Coruche FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cláudio Cardoso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Júlio Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Anjos having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Vítor Henriques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Bessa. Coruche FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Henriques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 27th minute, Henrique Trindade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coruche FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, SC Faioes's Emílio Assunção got a free kick in the 30th minute. Júlio Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Afonso Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Henriques in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viriato Bessa saved Coruche FC from getting behind. Vítor Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Viriato Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Jesus in the 46th minute of the match.

SC Faioes's Afonso Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Gonçalves in the 55th minute of play. When Vítor Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the SC Faioes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Henriques couldn't finish the play. Afonso Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gonçalves in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Pedro Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Faioes and the Coruche FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Faioes getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pedro Amorim hit a great ball. Vítor Henriques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Viriato Bessa made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Rui Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the SC Faioes defense, Júlio Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Anjos. The SC Faioes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Anjos should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, SC Faioes's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Trindade came free, but Afonso Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonçalo Viana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Anjos. SC Faioes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. During the 94th minute of the match Pedro Amorim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Amorim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th match minute, SC Faioes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Amorim to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Faioes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coruche FC.
