After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Rafael Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cabecinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Conchoso's protests and gave Fernando Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Conchoso were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after SC Cabecinhas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Bessa took the corner. After 25 played minutes Conchoso got a freekick which was hit by Marco Moniz. Marco Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Adolfo Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Matias in the 44th minute of play forced Conchoso's goalkeeper Amadeu Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Matias was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Marco Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conchoso were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after SC Cabecinhas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Bessa took the corner. Miguel Bessa made a great header on Conchoso's corner, it was just that SC Cabecinhas's Adolfo Lisboa managed to reach the ball for a save. Adolfo Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Moniz in the 56th minute of the match. Vítor Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Adolfo Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Moniz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Conchoso! In the 72nd minute, Vítor Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Martins in the 74th minute of play forced SC Cabecinhas's goalkeeper Adolfo Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
