The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Faro to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Daniel Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Casenho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pacheco couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Guilhafonso's zone, Simão Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Ferreira came out of the goal and Simão Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Ferro in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Ferreira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Joaquim Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Ferreira having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Casenho FC got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Sá. Hugo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Martins in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Casenho FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sérgio Sá hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, André Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guilhafonso's Fernando Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Guilhafonso from getting a goal against them. Joaquim Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
