Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when David Fontes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Paulo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Campos, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 9 minutes into the match, SC Aveia's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Martins came free, but Joaquim Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bento Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fernando Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Neto having to interfere. Carlos Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fernando Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Aveia's Jorge Fernandes got a free kick in the 39th minute. Bruno Campos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Neto. SC Aveia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquim Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Bento Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Fernando Ferreira made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Joaquim Martins made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Bento Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Aveia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bento Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57th play minutes Bento Costa shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Fernando Ferreira and just under the crossbar into goal. Fernando Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Costa in the 65th minute of the match. Paulo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Ferreira having to interfere. SC Aveia's Joaquim Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Martins in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes of play SC Aveia's Paulo Carneiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Joaquim Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bento Costa came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SC Aveia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bento Costa couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, SC Aveia's goalkeeper Joaquim Neto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Amaro. Fernando Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jorge Amaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Costa in the 91st minute of play forced Guilhafonso's goalkeeper Fernando Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Bento Costa made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guilhafonso's Fernando Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Aveia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Guilhafonso for a fine match.
