Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. Rui Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Sérgio Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sacoto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Pedroso during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Benvende's António Pedroso got a free kick in the 5th minute. SC Benvende's Sérgio Henriques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save SC Benvende from getting a goal against them. Rui Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Henriques having to interfere. Rafael Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Adelino Porto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sérgio Henriques. SC Benvende's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Sandro Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Benvende's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sacoto the free kick. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for SC Sacoto. Paulo Borges stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sérgio Henriques. 1-0. If Américo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Bruno Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, SC Sacoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Dias to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Sacoto's Américo Vieira got a free kick in the 41st minute. Rafael Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Bruno Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Guerreiro having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Delgado made a kick off. If Bruno Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Delgado in the 55th minute of play forced SC Sacoto's goalkeeper Rafael Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Benvende booed when SC Sacoto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Guerreiro was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Carlos Delgado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Delgado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 71 minutes into the match, SC Sacoto's goalkeeper Rafael Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Nascimento. SC Sacoto's Rafael Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Delgado in the 72nd minute of play. If Américo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Benvende's Carlos Delgado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Guerreiro. That made the score 1-2 after 83 minutes of play. Sérgio Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Rui Ribeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Henriques. SC Benvende's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Ribeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. António Pedroso got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. António Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Benvende defense, Américo Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Henriques. The SC Benvende fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Henriques should have stopped the shot. SC Sacoto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
