Rafael Guerreiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Baptista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Rui Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Teixeira having to interfere. SC Bertelhe's Álvaro Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, SC Sacoto's goalkeeper Rafael Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro Neto. Rafael Guerreiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Neto in the 26th minute. Rui Ribeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Teixeira having to make a save. Rui Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sebastião Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Leão hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Rui Ribeiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Sebastião Teixeira to make any attempt to save it. 61 minutes into the match, SC Sacoto's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Baptista came free, but Rafael Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Xavier Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Sacoto's Paulo Borges couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Bertelhe. SC Bertelhe's Sebastião Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Ribeiro in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, SC Sacoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Leiria to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Guerreiro having to interfere. Sebastião Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Ribeiro in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Bertelhe's José Pereira got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Ribeiro in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Teixeira saved SC Bertelhe from getting behind. SC Bertelhe's Sebastião Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Bertelhe from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Aguiar during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SC Sacoto's Rafael Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Baptista in the 88th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Alberto Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Guerreiro. SC Sacoto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
