An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Miranda in the 65th minute of play forced Lacos FC's goalkeeper Albertino Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mário Amorim made a huge save. In the 68th minute of the match Lacos FC got a corner. SC Comunhas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. António Borges ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lacos FC's Diamantino Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Mário Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carlos Carvalho took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Amorim. Mário Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Carlos Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
