Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacinto Mota got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Mota in the 3rd minute of play forced Sabroso FC's goalkeeper Paulo Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Carvalho got free with Paulo Assunção in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lacos FC's Albertino Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Figueiredo in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lacos FC defense, José Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertino Pacheco. The Lacos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertino Pacheco should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Sabroso FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vítor Santarém hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Lacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Ferro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Mota in the 32nd minute of play forced Sabroso FC's goalkeeper Paulo Assunção to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Sabroso FC's Diogo Vaz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Diogo Vaz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sabroso FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Diogo Vaz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 34 minutes into the game, one of Sabroso FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vítor Santarém hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Sabroso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Jacinto Mota scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Assunção, making the score, 3-1. If José Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Lacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Monteiro came free, but Albertino Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Monteiro to make the kick off. Paulo Assunção came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lacos FC's Jacinto Mota. But to his dismay, Jacinto Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. José Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Albertino Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sabroso FC booed when Lacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Sabroso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Carvalho came free, but Paulo Assunção reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Lacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Ferro to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Lacos FC's goalkeeper Albertino Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Monteiro. In the 81st minute, Inácio Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diamantino Costa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Carlos Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Assunção having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lacos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sabroso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
