With a couple of smart ball manuevers Óscar Fonseca in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Anjos saved Ciborro FC from getting behind. Cândido Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Bruno Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciborro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, SC Redondelo's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Luz came free, but Rafael Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Ciborro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Luz to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the SC Redondelo defense, Diogo Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Miranda. The SC Redondelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Miranda should have stopped the shot. If Óscar Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute of the match Paulo Borges sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Miranda skillfully saved the ball. Vasco Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Óscar Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute of the match, Diogo Mendes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Miranda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The supporters of SC Redondelo booed when Ciborro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Jorge Nunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ciborro FC's Vasco Anjos didn't even have to move. In the 59th minute Óscar Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfredo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
