Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Moniz made the kick off which started today's match. Nuno Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fábio Aguiar went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Paulo Veiga's late challenge caught a SC Baceiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, one of Gravanco FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gravanco FC. Paulo Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, SC Baceiros's Fábio Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rui Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Moniz's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Gravanco FC's Nuno Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Gravanco FC from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the game, Alexandre Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gravanco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Baceiros the free kick. In the 35th minute of the match SC Baceiros got a corner. Gravanco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Assis ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Paulo Moniz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Pedro Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Aguiar in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, SC Baceiros's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Torres came free, but Pedro Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Paulo Moniz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fábio Aguiar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 48th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Artur Torres made the kick off in the second half. SC Baceiros's Pedro Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save SC Baceiros from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ricardo Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Baceiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Nuno Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Moniz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Manuel Assis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Artur Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC Baceiros's Manuel Assis tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nuno Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Moniz in the 70th minute of the match. Pedro Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Queirós in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Aguiar got free with Pedro Sousa in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuno Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Fábio Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. SC Baceiros were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gravanco FC for a fine match.
