José Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Carlos Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Humberto Amorim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Figueiredo skillfully saved the ball. Vicente Pinto in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 93 played minutes SC Bonitos got a freekick which was hit by António Veiga. Oliveira Vieira took the ball and in the 101 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Correia. Artur Correia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Meles were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Bonitos for a fine match.
