Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Regueirao's Alexandre Matos got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alberto Carneiro came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Arrouquelas's Tiago Viegas. But to his dismay, Tiago Viegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Abel Pires fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Arrouquelas's protests and gave Abel Pires a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Abel Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Setúbal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but António Anjos made a huge save. Alberto Carneiro came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Arrouquelas's Tiago Viegas. But to his dismay, Tiago Viegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. António Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Miranda in the 34th minute of the match. Tiago Viegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Carneiro having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Regueirao's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Paiva came free, but Alberto Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Joaquim Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Arrouquelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Regueirao's Alberto Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bruno Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. António Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joaquim Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Regueirao's Alexandre Matos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Alberto Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. SC Arrouquelas's António Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Setúbal in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, SC Arrouquelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Pires to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Regueirao's goalkeeper Alberto Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquim Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alberto Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Regueirao's Alberto Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Regueirao from getting a goal against them. SC Arrouquelas's António Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Miranda in the 86th minute of play. António Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Miranda in the 88th minute of play. SC Arrouquelas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
