Xavier Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Arcas's Armando Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Gaspar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tomás Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Arcas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Pereira to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored SC Abrigada's protests and gave Tiago Pinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Tiago Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bruno Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rui Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Abreu having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arcas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
